Applications for Fall Enrollment will be accepted beginning in Summer 2020
The School of Interactive Arts (SIA) is a rigorous program intended for high school students who want to make games and prepare for college. In addition to learning C# programming on the Unity Engine, students will also practice other art forms related to game design such as illustration, animation, sound production, and narrative writing.
As students progress through the program, they'll be able to enroll in our APCSP prep-course and be eligible to take the exam through one of our partner schools if their own school does not offer the test.
A significant part of our program involves working with students to apply for college and seek financial aid through a number of scholarship opportunities. Graduates of our SIA program have successfully enrolled in schools like NYU, RIT, Cooper Union, and USC.
SIA is a multi-year program and students move through each tier as they stick with the program. Here's a chart of what a typical student's journey looks like with us.
